I rarely do location shots. First of all it is so much easier as photographer to build your own set and to fiddle around until you have the perfect pose and angle. And second of course noone is running in your picture when you are on high resolution and asking you what you are doing. BUT: this post is different, because it is indeed a location shot. And I want to tell you the story how that happened.
I found an artist via flickr that I found quite interesting and learned that the artist – Lux Chiantelle – also has an inworld gallery and hangout. As you know I am always looking for art for my home and garden blogposts so I contacted her and she was so kind to hand me over the landmark to the LND Gallery. And the place just blew me away. I wanted to buy some art there and I did (you will see bits and pieces in further blogposts also). But the Gallery and Hangout was just so me. Not only that the Gallery has a way lovely layout and is art itself – but the interior just has the perfect amount of quirkyness I simply adore. So you simply MUST check this place out!
And as we entered a new month the new round of the Mens Dept is coming closer. I am very glad to show you a special preview of a coat from !gO! you can get there beginning October 5th. I love this dufflecoat – first the texturing is way lovely and second I love dufflecoats in RL also. The dufflecoats are available in three different colors (red, green and brown) and are rigged mesh in male standard sizing. And believe me – I have seen many parts of the new collection and of course I will show you some more of it within the next days. But the 7th cycle of the Mens Dept. is by far the best one – you will love it.
Finally the glasses are from GOTZSCHE and are available at L’Accessoire.

The Gallery Gift Shop turns one – and like Mondra already told you there is a hunt going on on the Gallery Gift Shop Ground. And this is one of the cutest ideas ever. While you are hunting for picture frames you not only get the gifts from the merchants – you also get the frames. And most merchants have put their portrait in the frames to personalize it. This gave me the possibility to make my own Gallery Gift Shop Gallery with the artists and merchants from the Gallery Gift Shop.
Todays look also comes from The Gallery Gift Shop – and matching the anniversary theme 22769 ~ casual couture offer the “champaign supernova” mesh outfit containing the longsleeve and the champaign chinos. The longsleeve and the chinos can become worn seperately of course. The tux leather loafers are from NYU and the scarf comes from Tee*fy.
I took the pictures in the abiss mesh studio apartement – alas I altered a few things like the art provided with the prefab. I replaced it with the “Hallucinatio botanicus” painting from Gabrielle Swindlehurst, who is a Gallery Gift Shop artist from day one of the outstanding sales event.
If you have not yet – you simply must pay the Gallery Gift Shop a visit. It is brand new – a complete new build and enviroment which is a mishmash between an art gallery, a park, a shop and a hangout – very cute and adorably done.

Happy Tuesday Sweets,
yesterday a new round of the Gallery Gift Shop has started. But this cycle is a very special one: The Gallery Gift Shop celebrates its first anniversary on the grid. And for celebrations of this special event, the artist and merchants have made next to their regular items a small huntgift and have hidden them in a pictureframe. This hunt is the perfect excuse to walk around the newly designed Gallery Gift Shop. There are so many nice corners to explore! Hints are provided via notecard, you can get at the entrance of the new build. Also the merchants have robbed their inventorys and displayed (nearly) all items they have ever offered at The Gallery Gift Shop in the past circles.
Now I have told you so much about the Gallery Gift Shop, but you should also make a visit at the Hair Fair 2012. This year every vendor on the fairground give an percentage of each sale to Wigs For Kids. Next to all the new releases there, at some of the boothes you can find goodiebags with examples of their work included. But, please keep in mind, that you maybe need a few tries to teleport to Hair Fair 2012. This years Hairfair expands over four complete sims, so there is a lot to explore and discover.
But, now to my todays very classic look, wich is a mix&match of the two events. Let me start with the awesome dress I’m wearing today. It’s from 22769 ~ casual couture and is available for 160 L$ at The Gallery Gift Shop. The Anastacia Dress comes in mesh standard sizing and with two different versions of the alpha layer included. As usual 22769 have included the alpha textures too. The envelope bag I’m wearing is the free huntgift from 22769 for the anniversary hunt!
Yes, I have got a new and very classy and elegant look for todays blogpost. And my new haircut comes for free. It is from the Goodiebag greatfull offered by Zibska. Next to the Nan Hair in five colors you find the great earrings I’m wearing.
Also my todays pose is from the Hairfair. Amacci has included in their freebiebag four classic modelposes. Two for men and two for girls. But to be honest, you didn’t see, that I have using a guys poses for this entry. So I would rather label them as unisex.
That’s all for today my sweets. Hope each of you have a great tuesday ahead or behind you. See you around !

There are uncountable fashion fairs in SL – and that is good of course. Even better: finally there is a fair for prefabs, furniture and plants! The 5th Annual Home And Garden Expo has just started this weekend and there is so much adorable stuff to show. Please be prepared that this entry will have a lot more pictures then my regular entries. But it is oh so worth it.
reBourne Prefabs introduce their new creation on the Home And Garden Fair. It is called “The Dome” and it is all kinds of awesome. Forget about square rooms and prims glued together in the usual way. This is for living! Face the facts – only a few people can afford luxory homes in real life – in SL outstanding prefabs are just a teleport away. And “The Dome” is lush luxory.
The above standing collage is giving you a glimps of what you can expect from this building. Splendid windowfronts with an appealing structure, tasteful textures and a modern appeal with a certain retro vibe. The Dome not only comes as “simple house” (and i see simple in connection with this building as an insultment) but with a surrounding like a pool, a bar, a fireplace, a kitchen and many stuff to explore more. If you tend to become bored with the homes you purchase way too easy – this one is definitely for you. It is impossible to become bored with this one. And if you are a style addict – welcome to your new home.
Above standing picture shows maybe best what I am talking about. It is like a snake shell for people. And – to get the connection to the headline of this post – you have a full front view from every single room in this building. And now comes the best part: the house is 50% off for 24 hours. So if I (hopefully) convinced you better jump to the Home And Garden Expo to get you copy of this marvellous building.
