Timing is crucial in SL if you want to be up to date. There are a lot of brilliant places where you can bring your wardrobe straight forward as long as you keep the opening and closing times. The Mens Dept. is one of these events where you can gather up to date fashion for a reasonable price. And you have 10 more days to visit the venue and check the goods. Like i.e. the bicolor mesh tee from [LV]SOLIDe or the Corduroy Bush Pants (also mesh) from [Sleepy Eddy].
Todays haircut comes from Redgrave and this maybe is a surprise because Redgrave are known for their clothing and most of all for their skin line. Indeed there is hair to be found: the last releases Tyler and Edward have an extra hair vendor. So far so good – the Edward Hair I am wearing today comes in a resize and plain version. It is mod – so you can alter the color a bit like I did for the pictures. The hair is well done – I only wish that Redgrave would offer some more color options then just one. But then again – Redgrave is mainly a skin and clothing store.
Two more things to show you. First of all the Espandrilles from Reila Skins. It is the latest men release from the store and I am extremely impressed by the textures and the look. The Espandrilles come with a resizer and it was way easy to fit them to my feet. The ones I am wearing today are the navy ones – but there are so much more to find at the store. Easy and comfi – just as I like it.
The Liberation clock is the newest release from [ JP ]:dsg. and it is a nifty piece of accessory. First of all the overall look is flawless. I love the leather texture. The watch also has a lot of options like the changing of the clock-face and the leather bands which is – like the resizing – HUD driven. You can choose between 8 different looks for the clock-face (some of them displayed below). But there is more: you can even set the time to your timezone because it really is a clock. A fantastic fashionable gadget.
List of stuff:
Hair: REDGRAVE – Hairstyle EDWARD -midbrown-
Skin: KENTO – Preston T2
Watch: [ JP ]dsg. – LIBERATION clock
Shoes: Reila Skins – Espandrilles Navy
It is funny – in the current Mens Dept. you can find items from different designers that follow one vibe. This time it definitely is skating. But let us start at the beginning: I wanted to go with a complete different look and therefor I purchased the Pilot Cardigan from <HVK> – that is obviously not shown here because <HVK> have a special kind of “shoppingbag” for their items which is the skateboard with the pose you can see above. And I have had a good laugh when I saw this and I somewhat wanted to create a look around this one. And for the cardigan – I will feature the knit from <HVK> in a further post for sure, because it is fabulous.
The denims with the wrapped around shirt are from !gO! and I really love the look of them. Also the shirt moves of course with your walk and shows once again the creativity of designers with mesh. The bicolor v-neck comes from [LV]SOLIDe and comes in 4 different styles and of course, like the pants from !gO!, in mesh male standard sizing.
The super curly hair is from [IRUCO] and is their latest release. Definitely a must if you are not going for the usual haircut in secondlife. The fantastic necklace comes from KOSH. The “Adain Necklace” can be found in the Mens Dept. in five different styles (black, chopper, silver, gold and shown here: brass) and this time you also can find the matching rings at the Mens Dept. I especially love of course the flawless texturing and the brilliant crafting of the necklace which is with every KOSH item I saw. Also you get not only the male version but also the female version and both options are also included with the chest- and spine attachment points. My eyes are from Poetic Colors and have been an item in a previous cycle of the Mens Dept.
