“Dark the other side is…”
Sometimes it is big fun talking to a designer. The new rotation of The Gallery Gift Shop starts today and like always 22769 ~ casual couture offer a neat mesh outfits for the lads (well – there is one for the ladies also, but I will not shave my legs for that one – I better leave it to Mondra). The theme of both outfits is “Floating Sunrise” and indeed the colors are kind of bright and lovely and the clothing – especially these fabulous silk flared pants – float around your avatar. And then I ran into Paco Pooley from 22769 and we had a lil chat. And he mentioned that somehow the outfits remind him of a Bollywood remake of Star Wars – and well: the seed was sown in my head.
I remembered that HISpose released a few days ago a brilliant geeky pose as groupgift – and the pose includes a light saber! And well – everything was set and here we go: surrender no more the – hum – bright lord of the sith Darth Farshore. I could rave for hours about the lucky coincidences, the brilliant making of the clothing and the pose and the wonderful enviroment – but fact is: the outfit from 22769 at the Gallery Gift Shop is all kinds of awesome (and also can be worn seperately) and the supergeek pose from HISpose is one thing every boy has to have in his inventory. Oh and talking about the pose: You see it in the last pic in front of the credits. Nothing beats a good smoke after slaugthering some persky jedi knights…

Welcome to lazy Sunday everyone, my favorite day of the week. Sundays for me always have been hanging around days – like chilling, reading books, doing nothing and relax. And thankfully I have two very different creations I can present to you today that go oh so well together.
GizzA just released an awesome nautical suit for guys – just the perfect sea themed comfi clothing. It comes with a loose shirt, the bermudas and also the shoes. There are a few things I really want to mention about this outfit: I have the impression that mesh clothing, and especially mens mesh clothing, has entered a complete new level. Like with the shirt – the first mesh shirt releases have been quite tight ones that followed the avatars body perfectly. On the one hand it was kind of interesting to see what mesh actually can do – and these have been the first shirts released ever. Now shirts, like the GizzA one, follow a more natural flow. It is bulky, it has folds, it looks real. Same goes with the trousers. I noticed that many designer put a lot of detailing in their mesh pants recently. These Bermuda Shorts have real pockets – just like normal pants have. And this seems to become standard by now which is nice to see. So there is development in mesh clothing and I am sure that we will be surprised about the things that are about to come within the next months.
Back to the Nautical Suit. It is available in two different colors: Red (in the first pic) and more traditional blue of course. I have to say I love the fact that shoes are also included in this outfit – and the sneakers are really awesome and full of neat details. The Nautical Suits come in three different sizes.
Oh and the second creation I am going to introduce you today is again a Dreamscene from Garden of Dreams. This one is called Hidden Cove and is more or less a beach hang out. It is kind of cute and like a mini-sim for you and your friends or your significant other. You find not only the tent (shown above) and the camping place, but also a hammock and a pier full with animations (solo and couple). With this one I am extremely impressed with the texturing and with the plants. Also the scenery has realistic waves – in other words: if you want to escape – this is the place to be.

The Vintage Fair has not only retro clothing to offer – there is also a large variety of skins to be found. I personally like the Ezra skin from Aeva // Heartsick. It is very young looking and reminds me a bit of the 80ies where men in general seemed to be a bit softer and more boyish. Ezra is available in 5 skin tones – like I showed in my fake ad board in the picture. The skin options in every pack are with brown and without and also with body hair (well in this case more the happy trail), with pubic hair and with no hair at all. There is also a shape included in the pack, facial hair tattoos and also hairbases and teeth. So it definitely is a brilliant value pack.
The shirt I am wearing is one of the male items from 22769 at the vintage fair. It is an open army shirt in green with neat little details. The chest pockets are not only textured but are really standing out. I also like that the shirt is not invisible from the inside. The denims are also from 22769 and are the slim cut denims true blue (hello Madonna) from their flagship store. The Men’s Leather Deck Shoes Navy are the latest release from DUH! You can also find a brown pair in the currently running Menstuff Hunt.
