I love green. And somehow it is funny how this translates to my second life. I mean – we can do everything in here and we can be whatever we want to but it is these little things like a favorite color that gives us personality. Green is also the main color of this rather flamboyant Dandy Jacket by 22769 ~ casual couture. There are four different styles available at the Mens Dept. and well – clearly I picked the greenish one. The interesting part: you can wear the jacket also without shirt and regarding the shirt itself: there are six different colors in every package of the Dandy Jacket. Again – the shirts can not be worn solo since they are only covering the bits the jacket does not and I assume (without having any clue about making mesh clothing – I am only good in wearing it) it has something to do with the whole rigging process. But anyways – the deal is as fabulous as the jacket itself is.
Green again. If you are reading our blog for some time now you hardly see me wearing other eyes then green once. And believe me – I tried. But somehow it looks plain wrong when I wear blues or hazels or greys or even reds and what else the creators have to offer in SL. The eyes are mesh, and as the quality tells they come again from Poetic Colors. Lano Ling, the creator, dedicated the new selection of his eyes to the ocean. And indeed – the colors and reflections are crisp and wonderful realistic. I am wearing “sea weed” but of course you find other colors also at the display of Poetic Colors at the Mens Dept.

Welcome to my kind of Asia inspired Friday blogpost: I mixed for this one finds from the Mens Dept. (hurry up – it closes end of this month for a new round) and from the currently running Gallery Gift Shop – so here we go:
The “Buddha Garden” from KIDD was already in the last round of the Gallery Gift Shop but somehow I managed to always forget about it since it matches just so perfect in the enviroment of the new Gallery Gift Shop. However – I remembered it again and finally bought it. And it is a masterpiece. Not only that is very decorative – it also has some wonderful poses (female and male ones) included and it is also only 20 prims. The size of the Buddha Garden is about 12 x 12 meter – so it is also not too big. In other words: it fits everywhere. The Buddha Garden comes no copy and no mod but transfer – so it makes a perfect gift also!
The kimono I am wearing is one of the items from [Sheep Door] for the Mens Dept. and it is mesh in three different sizes. I am showing you the style Mizutama. The Yukata is well rigged and also a brilliant idea. I love the playful polkadot patterns on this one very much. The blindfold is the item of DownDownDownin the Gallery Gift Shop – and you can get it in very different styles and colors. Bloody ones are also offered which make great items for roleplay.

Welcome to lazy Sunday everyone, my favorite day of the week. Sundays for me always have been hanging around days – like chilling, reading books, doing nothing and relax. And thankfully I have two very different creations I can present to you today that go oh so well together.
GizzA just released an awesome nautical suit for guys – just the perfect sea themed comfi clothing. It comes with a loose shirt, the bermudas and also the shoes. There are a few things I really want to mention about this outfit: I have the impression that mesh clothing, and especially mens mesh clothing, has entered a complete new level. Like with the shirt – the first mesh shirt releases have been quite tight ones that followed the avatars body perfectly. On the one hand it was kind of interesting to see what mesh actually can do – and these have been the first shirts released ever. Now shirts, like the GizzA one, follow a more natural flow. It is bulky, it has folds, it looks real. Same goes with the trousers. I noticed that many designer put a lot of detailing in their mesh pants recently. These Bermuda Shorts have real pockets – just like normal pants have. And this seems to become standard by now which is nice to see. So there is development in mesh clothing and I am sure that we will be surprised about the things that are about to come within the next months.
Back to the Nautical Suit. It is available in two different colors: Red (in the first pic) and more traditional blue of course. I have to say I love the fact that shoes are also included in this outfit – and the sneakers are really awesome and full of neat details. The Nautical Suits come in three different sizes.
Oh and the second creation I am going to introduce you today is again a Dreamscene from Garden of Dreams. This one is called Hidden Cove and is more or less a beach hang out. It is kind of cute and like a mini-sim for you and your friends or your significant other. You find not only the tent (shown above) and the camping place, but also a hammock and a pier full with animations (solo and couple). With this one I am extremely impressed with the texturing and with the plants. Also the scenery has realistic waves – in other words: if you want to escape – this is the place to be.
